BSI
is very active in external funded research projects, accumulating state
of the art "know how" which is then included in the eDocXL™ product
line. This decreases significantly the development cost of eDocXL™ product
family enabling us to offer it at very affordable pricing. Below is a description of research projects undertaken by the company. 1. HERMES project, deals with the development of a mobile e-business platform for supporting salespersons and managers on the go. Applications include m-CRM, m-SalesForce and m-Workflow. 2. ECH:TOPIC project deals with the development of a set of s/w modules to access multimedia cultural heritage databases over mobile devices, using 2.5/3G wireless technologies. BSI is the coordinator of the project consortium. 3. D-scribe project, deals with the digitization and processing of manuscripts. BSI is the co-ordinator of the project consortium. 4. eScoolLib, deals with the development of the necessary infrastructure for filing, classification and searching on ephemeral material, using asynchronous educational interfaces for school libraries and distance learning. BSI is the co-ordinator of the project consortium. |
