The
eDocPlus work area consists of 4 Windows:
Folders
Window
It displays the Folder List. In the Folders you put your documents.
The folders may contain subfolders. When you select a folder (with
single click) it opens and the documents that contains are displayed
in the document window.
Documents
Window
It displays the Documents that are contained in the selected folder.
Each document
is associated with a datase record where we store the additional
information (fields) so that we can later retrieve it easily.
You can drag
and drop documents between folders, just like the way you do with
Windows files.
The columns in the Document window correspond to the database
record fields.
You can sort
the documents according to a certain column by just clicking on
the column you want.
You can also set what columns-fields and at what order will be
displayed for each folder window
With right
click on a document you activate the folder submenu with the immediate
actions you can to on the selected document.
You can adjust the column width exactly as you do with all the
other Windows.
Preview
Window
It displays a small preview of the selected documents in thumbnail
form.It supports only image files(tiff, jpg, gif, bmp, etc). The
files that are not supported are displayed as ×. You
can resize and place the above windows as you wish.
Shortcuts
Window
You can create and manage shortcuts to documents ands folders just
the way you do with Outlook.
Start
working immediately
The eDoc interface is very similar and has the same look and feel
with the Windows Explorer and the Outlook interface. So you can
start working with eDocPlus right away! |
